Jumping Monkeys

neither of our kids have had problems sleeping through the night, for the most part. it was only recently that our 3 year old has decided that many nights she’d come and shack up with us in our room in the middle of the night. but by that time it’s easy–we don’t have to do any of the work (’cept when she’s peed in the bed :( — lord lets hope this blog doesn’t remain through her teen years :) )

back from the vacatizzle

word, i’m back. check The Madisons website for the update. and, FTR, our last name is “madison” :). here are a few more pics i took out there that i thought were particularly fresh. i need to try to make some money off my kids lol.

This one was a little difficult in that it’s a macro shot, i have only auto-focus available, and jaylie isn’t the best “still-sitter”…but we pulled it off! :)

candid shot of jaden at the pool. i love black & white pics in good weather.

i spent a lot of time this ‘vacation’ thinking/planning/designing/thinking/writing/learning documentation for my jb software, as well as the jbml, and other things that jb wants to have, like session management. i came out of the vacation with some good todos for the software, and will try to implement the session managemen tomorrow, and keep the jbml on my hard drive until i get something that’s usable. (so far there will be two prepackaged modules–simple database select and RSS feed) i’ll probably keep the CVS tree updated though as i go along, so feel free to grab the code and take a look at the undone work.

As far as the Pocket Blog usage is concern–i didn’t even bother to try. :(

working in the medical field…?

In My Experience… | Ubiquity is a long way off. (17)

hmm…this is one more reason for me to consider working in the medical field–was just listening yesterday on NPR about HIPAA, doctor consultation via email, security, and the like…i was thinking “man i’d like to work with others who are helping these guys get their thoughts and tech straight” and the above post gets even more gears going in my head.

i dunno how those phone cams work but i would assume (and hope…my hopes have been dashed before in this area) that you’d be able to simply email a pic you took, so that takes care of that…

hmmm…yet again…the medical field never particularly excited me, ‘cos i didn’t think there were any interesting questions that i would want to investigate, but this weekend, and your post (and the broadening of my interests lately :) have helped a bit. so thanks Dan:)
